Welcome to our blog! We hope to use this space to share with you what is going on and how God is working in our lives. We've chosen to title our blog "Living Together" because we have started the journey of our married lives together. Also, we are excited about being being a part of the community of believers (locally and globally) where we can worship, serve, and live together with other people who believe in Christ as their Lord.
The official start of our married life together was on January 5, only a few short weeks ago. What a tremendous blessing that day was! To be surrounded by our family and friends as we committed our lives to each other before God brought us overwhelming joy. The text we chose for our wedding was Colossians 3:12-14 which says, "Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other: as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love which binds everything together in perfect harmony." It is our prayer that we may daily seek to embody this, both in our marriage and in all of life.
Here are a few pictures to give you a taste of our wedding day. We hope to share a few more when we get our professional ones.

As many of you know, we kept our honeymoon destination a secret throughout our engagement. There were a few who got a hint of where we were going when they saw the firewood in the trunk of our car :) And, of course, Dad Hanenburg made the highest bid at our reception to find out the exact location. Well, the secret is out now! For our honeymoon we went to a cabin on Beaver Lake in Arkansas for a week. We enjoyed hiking, cooking, playing games, reading and enjoying time together. Here are a few pictures from our trip:

Now we're settled into our apartment in Sioux Center, and life is starting to have a routine again with school and work. So far marriage has been a rich blessing to both of us, and we covet your prayers as we continue on this journey.
With love,
Dan & Leah
