Falling into place

Well, things are starting to come together for our moving plans this week! The hardwood floor is finished, the changing table is built, and helpers are lined up! Leah's mom arrived tonight (Sunday) to help clean and move, so that is really nice. The world is moving too fast right now for me to write much, but I figured I'd put a few pictures up to tide people over for another week!

One Month Old!

Our little Lydia is one month old!  We love getting to know her better every day!  We're so thankful to everyone who has come to visit her, prayed for her, sent a card, sent a gift or made us a meal.  She has given us a few smiles, but they are very fleeting and unpredictable :)  She is doing fairly well at night, and continues to have a good appetite.  At one month she is up to 9 lbs and 6 oz; nearly 2 lbs over her birth weight.

She's not always so sweet and innocent!

Cousins (and second cousins)!

I know there's a few people out there that can't seem to get enough of pictures of Lydia (a.k.a. Grandmas!), so here's a few from this week. We're looking forward to having Grandma Hofland here this week, and Grandpa Hofland and Uncle John next weekend!

I finally have a good excuse to take more naps

Week Two With Lydia

Lydia is now 2.5 weeks old, and still as fun as ever! Leah and I are really enjoying being parents and experiencing all the new things that come with parenthood. There are obviously some things that are more fun to experience than others, but neither of us would trade it for another day without her!
